Open Question: Art Theme Help Needed ASAP!?

So basically in year 11 i decieded to tak on art (biggest mistake of my life) my teacher got sick so we had lots of subs.. he then went on to retire and this yeah which is the 2nd year of my gcse course we have a new teacher. basically she told us that our art work has went of track.. and we every need to pick new topics and receive 2 years work done in 4 months.. we will be staying behind after school and everything. I was wondering, if someone could give me a simple topic with plenty of first hand sources and plenty to draw? eg.. flowers? junk food? I was also wondering what i could draw if i picked ''identity/self identity'' i have roughly after 12 pages of last years work based on eating disorders if i could incopperate them into my new topic! Well ive got 9 tats. plenty more to arrive. Me and my partner are getting Elissa's name on our bodies also. I am going to also receive her star sign, and chinese sign. And also his signs. I went with an old pal (i got 2others done in same day too) and i nearly broke his hand. You foot will shake automatically. I had to keep stopping him because he was free-handing it. i didnt want him to stuff up. Open Question: How do I stop a neighbour from harassing my family?

This neighbour is impossible to control. He constantly complains about my dog barking although a legal authority says that it is not an offence for a dog to bark but it is for my neighbour to play music and then leave the home in order to annoy us and a bed ridden person who lives with us. My neighbour has reported us for stupid reasons and is now basically stalking us. We reported her to the police and they said if she steps out of line one more time it'll be her last time. My neighbour is constantly reporting us and is slandering our name throughout the place we live. Is it possible to report my neighbour for entering private property? My neighbour entered our property and sent yet another letter saying that we're reported for leaving every day and leaving a dog without food. The dog was perfectly fine and had plenty of food and water. I could report my neighbour for neglect of their child as they left their child alone while they went to a forgeign country. I really have reached my wits end and I need help with this neighbour.

Open Question: I have an awful neighbour...?

My neighbour is completely mad. He slanders my families name across his possess and other people accusing us of things we had no part in. He basically stalked us recently appearing whenever we arrived home. He is always fighting over my dog and reported my dog for barking yet for "revenge" he puts music on noisy and leaves the home for hours. A sick relative lives with us and it's against the law to do that. A few days ago he put a note through out letterbox saying that we were reported for leaving a dog by himself every day without food. We left plenty of food and water and he was perfectly fine. He left his daughter alone a few months ago to go travelling and she is a minor. We have already reported him to the police and he knows this and does the letter count as entering private property? What can I do to cease his nonsense? Thank you for the support. I knew it wasn't just me who thought he was on a mission to destroy my family and our life. If my dog does receive taken away I will not stand for it, I will receive p*ssed off and battle flame with flame.

Open Question: my laptop is overrun by viruses! what do i do?

ok so basically, what happened yesterday was that i got a virus alert from avira (as that was what was installed on here). so i clicked the remove thing and 5 seconds later, i was blue screened, and my laptop restarted. it took forever to reload, and this happened twice within an hour. so i went to do a system restore to a point about a week ago, couldn't receive to system restore through normal window so loaded windows in safe mode, then tried system restore. my restore points are no longer available and the only one left was one from an hour ago. i ran a quick scan with avira, which i later deleted too, and it showed i had every sorts of trojans and worms, whereas when i ran the scan on monday (last time laptop was used) i had nothing. after that, it's been fine, like for the hour and half i used it last night and using it now. but i'm sure there's loads of viruses and stuff on here! a pal of mine has told me i need to reboot the entire system, but i really don't know how to do it. another pal said it could just be malware (what the heck it malware?) every i have is my laptop, a windows xp home edition key and the internet (lol) sorry i know i sound hopeless, but that's how i feel! i could just take it to the computer store, but they're damn expensive and its embarrassing that i can't even control my possess laptop! (visited the computer store with plenty problems with my sister and brother's laptops) so yea, your help would be much appreciated people! thanks! xx oh, ps, how do i cease every these random pop-ups opening? thanks again people! x

Well it's 10pm now but I usually snooze at half 8 so I'm not sleepy when I wake up and now I can't snooze although I'm sleepy!! Open Question: Am I just dehydrated?

I've recently been sick and on antibiotics (cefaclor), I've been off the medication for almost a week now but could I be experiencing side effects now? My vagina and vulva are dry and as a result have become irritated & itchy (also a tiny amount of discharge which is thick but no odor so I don't think it's a yeast infection) My mouth and throat are also very dry despite drinking plenty of water. My skin is behaving normally, no excessive dryness. I don't want to have to take another day off work to visit the doctor, so has anyone got any ideas what may be the issue & some home remedies to try?

Well to start of, i hold grudges, it could of happened 5-10 years ago, I will remember every detail of that day. I tend to ONLY remember the horrible events that have happened in my life (there have been plenty) and never the glad ones. I receive very emotional about the littlest things and i receive extremely mad easily. I am a very intelligent person, I am a straight A student, going for masters in Physiotherapy and am very knowledgeable towards Psychiatry (ironic huh?). It's weird, every time I am unhappy, I study. Open Question: Does the Elite Jet-Flo Internal Aquarium Filter 75 need a venturi plug?

I have just bought the Elite Jet-Flo 75 and it has a venturi system. I don't want to use the venturi system as I have plenty of air - this is a 25L tank I will use for quarantine and hospitalisation. I have read that other systems with venturi e.g. Fluval have a 'venturi plug' (and manual says if you don't use it the fish could be in danger). I just want to use the output adaptor without attaching the tubing etc. I don't understand why the fish would be in danger, there is no suction or air coming out of the venturi outlet and it is not big enough for fish to swim into. My opinion is that everybody should be treated exactly the same way, whether there black or white. Because no one should feel left out or different just because they have a different skin colour. I think the author is trying to say that racism does exist in our society, even though were every educated to think equally of each other. Relate: At first I thought it was good how aboriginals were aloud to play on the football team and to be treated equally to work together. But after I thought about it, I realised that maybe the football club pick not to be racist because it was to there advantage to have good aboriginal players to win the games, therefore using the aboriginals. Issues: I believe there are many issues of racism in the text deadly Unna for example the aboriginals are often called names such as nunga’s and boongs. They are also separated by the front bar and the back bar when the want a drink at the pub and every the aboriginals live out at the point were it’s not as nice as were the white people live, at the port which has a jetty and shops for the white people. Society: In society today, racism still exists and it seems to be like a viscous cycle the aboriginals are not accepted in our society so most drink alcohol and some commit crimes, and because of this they’re not excepted in society. The incentive to work has been taken away because the government gives them lots of money, so they don’t need or want to work because they already have it. Its like saying why would you need to fish when someone fishes for you.

Open Question: Simple Wordpress static page help please!?

Hi Can someone help me out with Wordpress. I am trying to build a site in wordpress. No blogs. Just static pages. Sounds easy enough as there are plenty of tutorials out there on how to insert a static page, but I must be missing something obvious!! So I have made my homepage.php (putting the php code over the doctype) and stylesheet called mystylesheet.css. Then ftp'd them to the theme on the server (default theme). Created the new page (deleted every other pages and posts via the dashboard). and went into reading (settings) and maded static page. Had a look at my page in the browswer and the content is there but no css applied to it! How do I receive my new home static page to reference the mystylesheet.css correctly? Have researched and still can't find the answer as to why this is happening! Thanks!

Open Question: Is this considered illegal? What't it called?

Joe Schmo takes out a tiny loan to buy a vehicle, say, a $3000 loan. Joe also charges thousands on credit cards knowing it's can't / won't be paid for. He bought plenty of building supplies, a washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher, Shower, toilet, stove, and some basic less expensive things. Joe then promptly files for bankruptcy But continues to pay off car loan on time, without missing any payments. What will happen to Joe's car and things he bought with his credit cards? Can those items be repossessed? What if Joe takes out a personal loan to buy the same things off of, rather than charging them on the credit cards? Give me as much info as you can about this. And yes. I know it will ruin the dude's credit. I don't think what my pal is slowly doing is right, or even legal.

Resolved Question: I don't know what do do about my daughter!?

My daughter and two of her girl friends had a slumber party last night. I went to bed earlier but woke up to this odd noise downstairs. I decided to receive up and check it out instead of waking up my husband. I wanted to check on my daughter and her friends and if they were making the noise to tell them to be a little more silent. However, when I opened the door to the basement it was dark so I decided to check further so I went down the stairs. Mind you, our basement is fully finished. My daughters bedroom door was cracked open a bit and the light was on so I went to look to look if they were sleeping since they weren't making noise. I opened the door slightly and was so shocked that I stood there for a moment to make sure I wasn't imagining things! My daughter was naked (as were the other two!), lying on her bed, legs spread open while one of the other girls was licking away at my daughters privates! While this was happening the other pal of hers was sitting over my daughters head and my daughter was licking her privates! I was SO shocked that I backed away and went back upstairs! My daughter is 17 so I didn't want to just go in there and start yelling....... I don't know what to do. I haven't told my husband and I'm not sure how to bring it up to my daughter........ this has been bothering me.... you think she would have told me if she was a lesbian. She's dated plenty of men! I just don't understand. Any advice someone could write would be wonderful! Please help? Oh and no, I never found out what the noise was, because they weren't making much noise. i've had plenty of flea bites lately ( our cat had fleas) but just today i noticed a weird bump maybe half an inch long on my forearm then it went away and came back.. ( it's a little red in that area)... could it be a tape worm??? well i read that ringworm could be caused by fleas... sounds like this is what it may be.

okay, my ipod won't stay on. it has plenty of charge, but whenever i unplug it from my ihome, it shuts off....whenever i can receive it to stay on, it says that it's 7pm and it's december 31, 1969...it also won't connect/charge when i plug it into the computer...so what should i do? is there a way to fix it??? oooorrr should i just buy one of the brand new 4th gen ipods...btw, i've only had the one i have for about a month...thanks for any help what so ever :)

Open Question: I downloaded a dvd to my computer and i want to put it in corel videostudio pro x2 but im not able to open the?

full file. in corel videostudio pro i can only for some reason open up half of the movie. the file says its 430 mb. when i play it in corel it only plays about 47 minutes worth but when i play the dvd its well over an hour long. can u help me open up the full file there is plenty more space on corel to use.

Open Question: How can i get windows media player to access a file on a second drive, like it did the first on the C drive?

I've tried doing a command prompt thing that it said somewhere else to do, but that doesn't seem to have worked, it just tells me that they can't create a new file whilst it already exist, even though, because of that, i risked deleting the original music folder off C-steer (the folder is every on the second steer, i just don't know how to receive every its files to be treated by windows media player the same as it would have been in the original folder on C-steer). I have to move them over, because my computer memory is only 80GB, in writing, and that 80GB has been partitioned, meaning i have less. THe operating system takes up most of C, so to make sure i have plenty of space for music i need to transfer it to the second steer. I'd very much appreciate a quick solution to this problem!

I got the stress of knowing half my family expects too much of me and the other half my family can't wait 'til me and my parents "fall". I haven't ever really gotten a "real" girlfriend... Open Question: Does this girl like me, or is she scared of me?

I know this question has been asked to death here, so I am sorry to be contributing to that. But since I don't want to embarrass myself at school with my friends, I would still feel much more sure of what is going on with this girl if I receive someone else's opinion. I recently saw this girl in a class of mine, and the thing that got my attention was that one day, I was talking in the hall with a teacher who I receive along with really well about my summer and so on. I looked to the side just randomly and this girl was staring right at me with her chin in her hand's palm, with an amused look on her face. When I spotted her , she shook her head (like girls do to receive hair away from their eyes I guess) and looked another way. Another time, she came and sat at the same table I was sitting at, even though there were plenty of other spots free. But she came and sat in a way like she was saying " I am not afraid of you" to me or like she was trying to be brave. She did not look at me this time though. One last thing is that whenever she passes by me in the hall, she seems to immediately look at the floor when she sees me coming but does not move out of my way to avoid me totally. So from every this, what do you guys, and especially girls think is going on here ? Is it going to be worth trying to talk to this girl or is it better to just move on because I am scaring her ?

Open Question: Should I approach my sister or cast it all away?

Ugh! Sorry for the length. Skip down to the ** if you don't want to read the whole thing. I had gotten used to it just being my dad and I here, which was actually quite nice, considering our family history, but now, well, my sister and her boyfriend moved in. The home (five bedrooms) has plenty of space, and it's almost nice to have her around, sometimes - I guess, but she's getting on my last nerve and I don't know how to approach the situation without her taking offense. The little things I've been able to just push aside, like her coming into the kitchen and re-arranging everything in the cupboards. They were already organized nicely, she just thought her way was, "better." I squeezed out a nod and just left the situation. That sort of thing continued with the dining room furniture, the kitchen table placement, and she took my spot in the driveway. every of this annoys me, but I'm not too concerned about them, they are just what started it. I was worried about the amount of animals she was bringing, two lizards (big ones!), two dogs, a few birds, a ferret, and fish. Other than most of them smelling like sh;t, I have a cat and her 8 week old kittens. They stay in my bedroom and bath for now, but her dog, Tasha, chased my other cat, Tommy, every around the home. Wait until my kittens are ready to explore our home, that's going to be stressful. Sigh. ********** Her pets were enough to take on, now the real animals are the people her boyfriend, Tim, brings around. They are gross and rude, and they make a mess in the kitchen and are too lazy to clean up. They are noisy, even after I ask them to please keep it silent, especially at night. I've complained to my dad, but he's just as cautious when approaching my sister. Jen has always gotten what she's wanted, spoiled brat, and I guess I'm guilty of spoiling her, even though she's a couple years older, weird. Well, his friends are her friends, so telling her that they need to calm down or not arrive here at every, will cause tension between us, which I don't need. How can I tell her my feelings about his friends, without them taking offense? Am I out of line? If I should just keep my mouth close, please say so. If you think I'm being a wimp, I agree.. Thanks.

Open Question: Why do new 21 year old girls love the bar scene?

So about 20 girls and guys are watching football at a friends home. We have plenty of good food, booze, and football. It's 10pm and every the girls wanna go to the bar. every the guys don't understand why when their BFs are right here, and beer at the bar is expensive. You also risk getting a DUI, overpaying for beer, as mentioned before, smelly smokers, etc. Can anyone explain this bullshit? Is it because girls like the attention and they won't receive that while we watch football? There has to be more to it than that cuz my pal said they do this a lot, not just tonight during football. But they do this even when football isn't on. silly thing is they were every just wearing jean shorts and t-shirts for the game.

Resolved Question: Where do people even get their information that men discriminate against fat girls and woman against short men?

Idiots may sit on the internet every day and talk about how disgusting fat girls are and how short men are good for nothing and unmanly, but in reality, I know plenty of bigger girls with boyfriends, and I know plenty of short guys who have no problem finding girlfriends. I know one girl who is borderline obese, has the b*tchiest personality ever, dresses androgynously, and honestly just isn't that pretty, and she's had her share of men crushing on her...no one can figure out what it is. I've had crushes on dozens of shorter men in my lifetime. People may voice their "preferences," but in the end, I don't look evidence of a surplus of lonely fat women and short men walking around. If it's what's happened to you, maybe it's something other than your height or weight that is turning people off. women* ahh I hate when people mess up the pluralization of that word, and I just did it.

Open Question: Should I wait for her or move on?

[This is very long, if you don't like to read, go to other questions] A good pal of mine and I like each other, but we decided to take things slow, develop more feelings before we decide to commit. It sounded every good, since we had no reason to rush. The problem happened when I found out how passive she was. I very well knew that she's a bit shy and introverted, but it wasn't too bad and I was certain she'd open her minds up soon enough. But no, she turned out to be the most passive person I've ever met. When we talk on AIM, she's never online. She always hides offline when she's actually online, and tells me I should try to talk to her because she may answer. I asked her why she has to hide offline, and she said she doesn't like to be bothered by some people when she doesn't wanna talk. My attempt to talk isn't always successful, of course. I try a couple times a day, and I'm lucky if we talk everyday. She isn't the most responsive person. Many times, she's talking to others, watching videos on YouTube, or other not usually very important things. Sometimes, a couple times a week, I send her messages, either via phone text or Facebook, nice of like my diary just for her. How my day was, how I was thinking of her, asking how her day was, etc., especially when we didn't receive to talk lately. With no exaggerations, she responds about one per 10 messages. Lately, her attitude has been "meh" and when I ask her if everything is okay, she just says it's because of the work. I realized that I never hear from her unless I talk to her first. So I decided not to initiate the conversation for two weeks, while keeping myself regularly available to talk. Guess what, she didn't talk to me at every, for two full weeks. It gets me frustrated. I don't mind leading the girl, but I still want the girl to put in efforts, and the way things look to me at the moment, she's not even putting in half the effort I put in. I talked to her about this a couple times. She said she still likes me very much and that she's sorry for frustrating me. I told her, "there is a fine line between apathy and blunt passiveness, and I'm quite sure you've crossed the line long time ago." She reminded me that we were suppose to take it slow. It's been over two months since we agreed that we'll "take it slow", and she's gotten much more introverted since then. This is a unhappy thing, because everything else about her, she's absolutely fantastic. Classic girl next door, great grin, sweetest heart, and even a bit of nerdy side. Everything I could ask for in a girl, she has it, except for her aloof attitude, which I really can't deal with. I thought it's not a big deal, and I really tried to be patient and work it out for past two months, but when I'm starting to feel like I've been wasting my time, I know it's time to reconsider my feelings for her. Should I wait for her or move on? FYI - I'm 21 and she's 18. 1) Wait. Don't be a jerk now. She may be testing you. If only one aspect of her is bothering you, then you need to keep try. Be impatient, and you may regret later. 2) Move on. She's not worth the headache. If she's naturally passive like that, chances are, she'll always be like that. And if it troubles you this much, just stay friends with this girl, there are plenty of fish in the sea.

Resolved Question: What should I do what my ex-boyfriend who still wants to remain close friends?

My ex-boyfriend broke up with me about 7 months ago because he didn’t want a girlfriend anymore and didn’t have enough time for me, well, as much time as I would like. We still remain close friends and on some occasions I tell him, that it is too difficult for me to be friends with him because I’m not completely over it. Although, he is really persistent and pushy about remaining friends and assures me it will be okay. I’m also not sure why he wants to be such good friends still? Why does he even care that much? He has plenty of great friends. Last night I messaged him and told him that I wanted some distance and I didn’t even want him to answer to my message. I haven’t heard from him since, which is so odd. Have I done the wrong thing? The reason I did ask for space though, was because every time he calls up, I’m upset, I don’t want him to start thinking of me “as the girl that cries every the time” because right now I’m going through a bad time. What should I do? Should I continue not talking with him? Should I go to his home and apologise for making such a huge issue of it? (I nice of did make a deal of it). We care about each other so much and still adore each other, as friends. I’m so confused. I miss him already! What would you do in my situation?

Open Question: Starting baby food at 2 months?

My little man is 2 months old now. And for a couple weeks, I have been feeding him little bits of baby applesauce and pearsauce. He tolerates it well, not constipated, no gas.. And he loves it! Who else started early? Yes, I have heard what they tell me. But I think its a load of crap. He sleeps longer cause he is fuller now. He still gets plenty of formula. I only feed him little bits every day or every couple of days.. Like a quarter of a can. Opinions?

Open Question: help i have chronic stomach pain?

i worked out to the max with every my energy on thrusday, that night i felt my whole body was sensitive like as if i had a icy, i had a bit of a fever and it went away now. now i just have this persistent stomach ache and a bit of a headache. i have had thursday night, friday, and saturday to recover from this, but still my stomach aches. sometimes it gets tolerable for a while, then it hurts again later. I always drink water, make sure i eat regularly, so dont tell me im dehydrated. I always eat at least 5 meals a day for working out. and drink plenty.

There is this girl living close us and she has really big breasts, and she really flaunts it,and wears really tight fitting low clip tops, she is also really pretty, my pal keeps saying "what has she got that we dont have?" and "what is she trying to prove?" do you think that my pal is jealous? My pal is really pretty too and gets plenty male attention so im really puzzled as to why she would make something like this make her so annoyed.

Open Question: Grrrr....6 year old with attitude problem?

My son has always been mostly well behaved. Prone to an occasional meltdown, but not typically anything that was too terrible. but over the past couple of months, he's had a TERRIBLE attitude! I tell him he had 15 more minutes to play his game, and he's fine with it. But when the time is up and I tell him to turn it off, he literally starts whining like a baby (not crying - just whining) and tries his best to talk me out of it. He has had to pick up his possess toys before bed since he was 2 - so it should not be anything new to him. But lately when I ask him to, he reacts the same way - whining and pretending to sob. Same thing when I ask him to do his homework, or do his chores, or anything at every! I try to make sure we have plenty of quality time together, and he's doing well at school. Can't think of any major changes in his life recently, so I don't think that could have caused it. What the heck is going on with him, and how do I fix it?!?
